Our lovely village has a century-long tradition in hospitality.
In 1938 Alpbach already had 110 guest beds. Today the village offers a total of 2,500 beds. Alpbach attracts an average of 22,000 guests in the summer and about the same number in the winter. The village logs approx. 300,000 bed nights per year. Tourism is the major source of income for the local population of 2,500. There are still 105 working farms in the area - about the same number as 100 years ago.
