Rock climbing Berghaus Sonnwendjoch

Enjoy the 80 new sports-climbing routes in the Rofan Range around the Sonnwendjoch top station, easily accessed by chair lift from Kramsach

The climbing area „Berghaus Sonnwendjoch“ in the Alpbachtal Seenland holiday region can be found at the heart of the Rofan Range at approx. 1800m elevation. In the Summer it can be accessed by the Sonnwendjochbahn or on foot (approx. 2 hour hike), in Winter the climbing area can be reached off-piste with skis.

Access by lift: with the Sonnwendjochbahn to the top station. The rock faces are immediately above and below the Berghaus Sonnwendjoch and can be reached in approx. five to ten minutes. Use of the chair lift is free with your Alpbachtal Seenland Card. All guests without the Card pay the regular tariffs.
