I don’t feel like skiing today. What can I do?
Today we will join mountain and ski guide Sepp on a snow shoe tour through natural Brandenberg. What a joy – far removed from the daily grind! Our friends are trying out cross country skiing. Breitenbach has a great cross country trail network reaching all the way to Mariastein. After dinner I would love to take part in a torchlight walk around the frozen over Lake Reintal – I am sure it will be mystical.
Next time we come will be in the pre Christmas period – the time of year when the Rattenberger Advent is held. Rattenberg is bathed in natural candle light and the Christmas market in Brixlegg has a Christmas post office (Engelspostamt).
