The Alpbachtal Seenland is unbelievably rich in water. The white water of the Brandenberger Ache with its charming gorges challenges you to participate in rafting, tube riding and more.
Let’s go rafting and travel along the „living water“ as deftly as a fish. Sport Ossi and his team are veritable water enthusiasts. Following a wild ride along Tyrol’s most beautiful rafting route – the Imst Gorge – armed with a lorry tube I plunge into the Brandenberger stream – rubber dinghy riding – yippee!
For those looking for more gentle water entertainment rowing on one of the bathing lakes is ideal and so relaxing.
To learn more about water you should take a walk along the water walking route (Wasserwanderweg) and reward yourself with a mouthful of the regions mineral water one of the best in the Tyrol.
To quote Mark Twain „Medicines cognizance can be formulated as follows: Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody...“ Mark Twain said.
Well then, cheers.

WasserWanderWeg – a different www for a change. What do names like Geyerbach, Nympheum, Schotterfang and Taufstein have in common? They are 4 of the in total 33 stations along the water walking path. Let’s „sail“ along the path together. The three "W" offer something completely new: experience water, question water and understand water. The WasserWanderWeg answers many questions – even questions you never thought of asking…

Water worlds, cooling and relaxing

Tube riding, rafting and kayak adventure – Ossi and his team organise top class white water sport.
Some maintain that they all have webs between their toes. All activities take part under the supervision of trained and certified staff and Ossi also provides all the necessary equipment.
So no more excuses. Let’s ride the waters.

On bad weather days there is always an alternative: Indoor Adventure Pool Alpbach, Wörgler Wasserwelt or Erlebnistherme Zillertal. There’s lots of fun to be had…

Right into the 20th century the whole Brandenberg Valley was dependant on wood. The raging river served its purpose of transporting wood logs out into the valley. The secured footpaths through the Tiefenbach and Kaiser gorges date back to these times and take us along these mountain ravines of rough beauty.
