Historical guided tour by night 

Austria’s smallest town has many stories to tell.

When darkness descends over Rattenberg, guides take on the role of a figures of the past. Dominikus Lang was the mayor of Rattenberg. He and his wife lived in 18th century Rattenberg and the couple was well-known in the town. The guided tour (approx. 1 hour) follows Dominikus Lang and his wife Anna Maria Lang and compares life in the Middle Ages and today.

Beginning: 9:00 p.m. from the Nailsmiths Houses.

Offers insight to the municipal authorities duties and finances and the various trades such as brewer, goldsmith, butcher or innkeeper. The guides also talk about the religions practiced towards the beginning of the 16th century. The tour lasts 1 hour (in German only!).
