THE TERM "FOREST BATHING" IS DERIVED FROM THE JAPANESE TERM "SHINRIN YOKU", WHICH LITERALLY MEANS "IMMERSION IN THE FOREST ATMOSPHERE".
Forest bathing is not simply a stroll in the woods. Shinrin-yoku means taking in the forest atmosphere during a leisurely walk. It is a therapy that was developed in Japan during the 1980s, becoming a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine. Terpenes are a fundamental part of existence on this planet and our lives are improved with them. Focused breathing and conscious exercising, relaxation and meditation as well as nature rituals are implemented to make this effect accessible to people.
Slow down and reconnect with your senses. Connect with the forest’s rhythm. Immerse yourself in the wonders of the forest with all its facets. You will be richly rewarded.
