We’ve been warmly welcoming nature lovers and groups to our Riedhof since 1970.

Whether school classes, college students, family groups, youth groups, or clubs—our farmhouse offers plenty of space, nature, and numerous opportunities for a varied and enjoyable time together, especially for groups and children.

A fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy. In the cozy dining room with an open fireplace, you can wind down the day in good company...

There’s also plenty of space inside the house for group activities: The basement features a spacious group room with table tennis, foosball, a projector, and a screen. These amenities are complemented by a craft room and a small, cozy lounge.

In the summer, the large playground with soccer goals is the perfect place to let off steam. A trampoline, a campfire pit, and a barbecue area right next to our sunny terrace ensure plenty of fun and variety outdoors.

Particularly popular—especially with our younger guests—are the farm animals around the house, which let you experience real farm life up close.

A convenient ski storage room is available for our winter guests. There is also a washing machine there that can be used during your stay.

Good to know:
The final cleaning fee for the vacation home or apartment is not included in the booking price and must be paid directly on site. Upon presentation of a valid school certificate, the lodging tax (local tax) is waived.

Host information

Nature lovers have been welcome at our holiday farm since 1970.

Jakob and Christa Achleitner

Jakob Achleitner was born in 1965 and took over the farm and youth hostel in 1988.

Christa was born in 1968 and grew up in a traditional inn family in Wildschönau.

Jakob and Christa got married in 1992 and since they have been taking care together of the well-being of their four children, guests and animals.

The spacious holiday apartment is 530 m².
