Since 1970, we warmly welcome nature lovers and groups at Riedhof.
Whether school classes, students, family groups, youth groups, or clubs – our farm offers plenty of space, nature, and numerous opportunities for a varied time together, especially for groups and children. Our hostel can accommodate 19-52 people.
A fully equipped kitchen allows for uncomplicated self-catering. In the cozy dining room with an open fireplace, the day can wind down in good company.
There is also plenty of space for shared activities in the house: In the basement, there is a spacious group room with table tennis, foosball, as well as a projector and screen. This is complemented by a craft room and a small cozy sitting room.
In summer, the large playfield with soccer goals invites for active play. A trampoline, a campfire site, and a barbecue area right next to our sunny terrace provide varied hours outdoors.
Particularly popular – especially with our little guests – are the farm animals around the house that make real farm life tangible.
For our winter guests, a practical ski room is available. There is also a washing machine that can be used during the stay.
Good to know:
The final cleaning fee for the holiday home or apartment is not included in the booking price and must be paid on-site. If a valid school confirmation is presented, the overnight tax (local tax) will be waived.

Host information
Nature lovers have been welcome at our holiday farm since 1970.
Jakob and Christa Achleitner
Jakob Achleitner was born in 1965 and took over the farm and youth hostel in 1988.
Christa was born in 1968 and grew up in a traditional inn family in Wildschönau.
Jakob and Christa got married in 1992 and since they have been taking care together of the well-being of their four children, guests and animals.
