ALPINE HIKE ROFAN RANGE (2.228 m)

Description:
Take the chairlift (Sonnwendjochbahn) up from Kramsach. Walk up to the Rosskogel and on to Lake Zirein (Eye of the Rofan). Walk along the AV-path 401 to the Marchgatterl, bearing left take the Schafsteig to the Schafsteigsattel. From the Sagzahn (2.228 m) follow the secured climbing path to the Vordere Sonnwendjoch (2.224 m) and enjoy the magnificent views. Continue via the Südgrat to the Bayreuther Hütte (DAV hut). Return to Kramsach via path 20,10, 9 or back to the top station via the Zireiner Alm.

Description:
From Breitenbach walk in a northern direction towards Moos, left to Ramsau and to Haus Gschwentner. Take path no. 19 to the Jocherkapelle (chapel) and to Joch. Walk downhill until you reach the path coming form Brandenberg. Steep uphill path to the Jocheralm and over the ridge to Heuberg and then on to Plessenberg.
GROSSER GALTENBERG (2.424 m)

Description:
Starting from the Hotel Wiedersbergerhorn car park in Inneralpbach take the A37 to the hunting lodge Alplkreuz, along the ridge until you reach a fork in the path. Continue along the A37 to the Großer Galtenberg (highest mountain in the Kufstein district). Walk back either to the fork, then left direction Farmkehr Hochleger. Or via the Farmkehrpfanne (steep!) to the Hochleger. Continue along via the Greitalm back to Inneralpbach.
