The Holzalm is situated in the midst of the beautiful Alpbachtal hiking region. The hut is at an ideal point for starting hikes, enjoying nature and finishing off a mountain bike tour.
It is not far to the Gratlspitze and spectacular views from the spacious peak plateau towards the Großglockner, Großvenediger, the Ziller Valley and Stubai Alps, the Karwendel, the Rofan Range and the Wilder Kaiser as well as magnificent views over the Inn Valley, the Wildschönau and the Alpbach Valley await you.
The Holzalm has a large car park and can be reached by car from Zimmermoos. A route leading via the Holzalm farms in Thierbach in the Wildschönau also leads to the Holzalm.
