In order to blend in with the homogenous architectural style, the building was built into the mountain slope. Since 1945, Alpbach has hosted the European Forum Alpbach, which takes place every year in August and currently has more than 5,000 participants. The Green Meeting location offers a total rentable area of 2,796m² and state-of-the-art technology. The bright and friendly building’s architectural highlights are the glass cone that lets a maximum of daylight into the foyers and rooms, and the large glass fronts that give beautiful views of the Alpbach Mountains.
