Christmas & Farmer's Market

The whole town shines on Saturdays from 28.11. to 19.12. in the atmospheric light of Christmas decorations. At Herrnhausplatz and in front of the town hall, Christmas trees glow brightly. A petting zoo awaits many little visitors. Christmas trumpeters play old tunes and set the mood for the Advent season. Brixlegger Christmas means strolling comfortably through festively decorated streets, enjoying the Christmas stands, and browsing in the shops.

Brixlegger associations and numerous hobby craftsmen have diligently crafted, knitted, and carved. Christmas decorations, Christmas tree ornaments, as well as hand-knitted socks, gloves, or hats can be found at the numerous market stalls. Homemade jams, oils, liqueurs, and local honey must not be missing. The highlight of Brixlegger Christmas is the big Christkind procession on 19.12.2026 - enjoy the magic of shining children's eyes and the contemplative atmosphere of this unique spectacle!

The Brixlegger Christmas Market has become one of the insider tips in Tyrol. Delicious specialties such as Zillertal Krapfen, Kiachl, and Christmas cookies sweeten the pre-Christmas season. At 5:00 p.m., St. Nicholas rides through the village in his carriage - accompanied by little angels - distributing his gifts. Stroll leisurely through the streets, meet friends and acquaintances, taste delicious treats, and enjoy the Advent season.
