Middle Ages Festival in Rattenberg
Austria’s smallest town is once again transformed into a vibrant medieval world – and this year there’s a very special occasion to celebrate: 10 years of the Rattenberg Medieval Festival!
In the historic old town, you can look forward to a colourful market, medieval encampments, thrilling mock-battle demonstrations and skilful juggling. Flag-wavers, music and dance add to the varied programme and bring the Middle Ages to life in Rattenberg.
There’s plenty for young visitors to discover too: creative activities invite you to join in, whilst craft stalls and traditional performances offer fascinating insights into times gone by.
Refreshments are available in the taverns and inns. Day tickets are also available on the day at the ticket offices on all days of the event.
The event will take place whatever the weather!

As there are only limited parking facilities available on site (Südtiroler Straße car park), we recommend travelling to and from the event by public transport, on foot or by bike.
The Rattenberg-Kramsach train station and the Radfeld Mittelschule Rattenberg bus stop are located in the immediate vicinity of the event site.
