Rattenberger Advent- Saturday

In the medieval Rattenberg, Advent is celebrated differently. In the candlelight and with warming fireplaces, one enjoys the special atmosphere in the smallest town in Austria. 

On the Advent weekends, the medieval town of Rattenberg shines with the glow of stars, candles, torches, and open fireplaces. Gastronomy and commerce pamper you with local delicacies and invite you to relax, stroll, and enjoy. Reflective Advent music in the town's shops accompanies you through the afternoon and evening.

From 2:30 p.m.
- Tyrolean customs program in the town
- Fairytale path | from west to east, signs are located in the town for exploration
- Children's program, in the courtyard of the Music Middle School Rattenberg
- Glass ball blowing at Kristallglas Kisslinger
- Fun train (Nov 28 / Dec 5 / Dec 12)

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Various music groups perform at different locations in the town

3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Exhibition at the Augustinermuseum Rattenberg | entrance by voluntary donations

3:30 p.m. - Main stage
- Musical program of the Regional Music School Kramsach on the main stage, info to follow!

4:00 p.m. - Spitalskirche
- Irish harp sounds, Styrian harmonica & texts and thoughts in the Spitalskirche by the “Ensemble GedankenSpiel” (starting from Nov 28, 2026)

4:30 p.m.
- Search for lodgings | meeting point at the Nail Smith Houses

5:15 p.m. (not on Dec 19)
- Entrance of the bringers of light
- Musical performance of the Music Middle School Rattenberg
- various Tyrolean customs program on the main stage

6:15 p.m.
- Ave Maria closing singing | Elisabeth de Roo

From 7:00 p.m.
- Dec 13, concert of the Wildschönau Gospel Choir

On Dec 19, the Silent Advent takes place:
There is no program on the main stage - in a reflective atmosphere, from 3:00 p.m. onwards, music groups will wander through the town; exhibition at the Augustinermuseum; search for lodgings; children's program; harp sounds & reading.

Advent fun train Nov 28, Dec 5, Dec 12. (voluntary donations for a social project)

The fun train takes you from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. approximately every 20 minutes from the Rattenberger Advent to the Brixlegg Christmas Market or vice versa. Stops:
Rattenberg P1 | Tourist Office, INNKauf Bus Stop, Brixlegg Train Station, Volksbank Brixlegg
