Magic of the Rauhnacht – an Advent journey in six chapters

Discover the magic of the Rauhnacht! At the Museum of Tyrolean Farmhouses in Kramsach, a special Advent journey awaits you for young and old alike. Six atmospheric stations invite you to learn about old winter traditions, experience Tyrolean customs, and enjoy the pre-Christmas season together.

From the scent of local smudging herbs to freshly baked bread and magical stories, as well as a meeting with Saint Nicholas – there is much to discover on this journey through the Advent season.

Program

• Healing customs: Learn more about the tradition of smudging and the significance of local herbs with MUSCO. pure herbal work.

• Oven-fresh tradition: Discover Tyrolean Zelten and traditional baked bread fresh from the wood-fired oven of the Tyrolean Eigenbrötler.

• Magical stories: Listen to a children’s book reading with Christina Anna Kasseroler (Bonifer).

• Light of Christmas: Join Rosi Fellner in candle-making.

• Meeting with Saint Nicholas: Hear exciting stories from the life of Saint Nicholas and capture the encounter with a memory photo.

• Resounding conclusion: Enjoy contemplative sounds from the brass musicians at the idyllic inn Rohrerhof.

Start times and duration

The Advent journey starts every 20 minutes. Choose your desired start time when making your reservation:

2:00 p.m. | 2:20 p.m. | 2:40 p.m. | 3:00 p.m. | 3:20 p.m. | 3:40 p.m.

The total duration is approximately 90 minutes each.

Important: Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked start time at the museum cash register to collect your ticket. Reserved tickets can also be picked up in advance during regular museum opening hours.
