Safety guidelines
In case of very bad weather we advise not taking the route through the Kaiser Gorge, but taking the forest track.
Directions
The scenic circular trail starts at the Gasthof Kaiserhaus in Brandenberg and leads through the Oberen Kaiserboden, the Brandalm and the Weißach estuary butterfly habitats. The route back is along secured paths through the impressive Kaiser Gorge or along the forest track. For a shorter route, one can walk back from the "Trauersteg", but misses out on a particularly pretty area where the Weißache (stream) joins the Brandenberg River.
