Would you like to enjoy a summit experience without tackling a long and strenuous climb? Then this circular hike to the Wiedersberger Horn is the perfect choice. The Wiedersbergerhorn Cable Car takes you comfortably up to an altitude of around 1,800 metres. From the top station, this family-friendly tour begins, covering approximately 280 metres of ascent and around 1.5 hours of walking time.

The scenic panoramic trail leads through the impressive mountain landscape of the Alpbachtal. One of the highlights along the route is the “Gateway to the Alpbachtal” – an old wooden door that frames a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks and makes for a memorable photo stop. The trail then follows the south ridge up to the summit of the Wiedersberger Horn (2,127 m). At the top, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Kitzbühel Alps and the surrounding Tyrolean mountains.

For a relaxing break, the Hornalm at the foot of the summit as well as the Hornboden Mountain Inn and the Dauerstoaalm near the top station offer excellent refreshments. Families can round off the day at Lauserland, an adventure playground with a variety of interactive play stations. If you are still looking for a little more excitement, the Lauser-Sauser Alpine Coaster starts right next to the top station.
