Little Kohlgruben Circular Hike
Short family-friendly circular hike from the top station of the Wiedersbergerhorn cable car, featuring stunning panoramic views, a glimpse of the Kohlgrubenalm and plenty of fun at Lauserland.
The scenic trail leads across gentle alpine meadows and offers impressive views of the surrounding mountain landscape of the Alpbachtal region. One of the highlights along the route is the view of the idyllic Kohlgrubenalm, which is no longer managed today. The well-maintained paths make this an ideal hike for families with children.
After the hike, the Berggasthof Hornboden and the Dauerstoaalm invite you to stop for refreshments and enjoy regional specialities. Right next to the top station, young adventurers can explore Lauserland, a family-friendly adventure area featuring interactive play stations and a large forest playground.
If you would like to extend your outing, finish the day with a thrilling ride on the “Lauser Sauser” Alpine Coaster, located directly at the mountain station. For guests staying in the region, rides on the Wiedersbergerhorn cable car are included with the Alpbachtal Card. A varied and family-friendly alternative to the panoramic trail around the Wiedersberger Horn.
