A new adventure every day for the whole family: magical moments await you in Juppi’s Enchanted Forest, colourful fun at Lauserland children’s mountain top adventure playground and a shared journey of discovery through forests and meadows up to the region’s mountain peaks. From making things to learning through play, connecting with nature barefoot and plenty of laughs, the Alpbachtal family programme is the ideal way to bring your children and grandchildren closer to nature in a laid-back environment. That’s quality family time in the Alpbachtal!

Good to know:

  • The Alpbachtal family programme runs from beginning of July to end of August 2024.
  • Registration is not required.
  • Participation is included with the Alpbachtal CardYou receive the card free of charge at your accommodation upon check-in.

Family programme 2024

There is a varied programme for the whole family every week from Monday to Friday. Hubsi and his eager aides accompany you through the week and under the guidance of our qualified team even adults can be a child again for the day.

Meet Juppi & friends!
Juppi Zauberwald

Welcome to the Alpbachtal! Meet Juppi and his friends and let him show you the fun things we have planned. We will give free rein to our creativity, make things, romp around and more

When: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Meeting place: Juppi Zauberwald in Reith i. A.
 

Smell, taste, see, hear, touch...
Fichtenliesl's day of discovery

Out and about with herb specialist Maria. We'll spend the morning discovering the Hildegard von Bingen show and recreation garden and learning how to make herb pralines.

When: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Meeting place: Hildegard von Bingen Herb Garden in Reith i. A.

Workshop with Wusel the Water ghost

In the afternoon, a special task awaits young and old water enthusiasts. You can build your own little raft and test it out on the beautiful lake Reintalersee.

When: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Meeting place: Reintalersee, Kramsach (sunbathing lawn Mu-Strand - car park west)

Our hero Stoffl Strudelwurm

Today we meet Stoffl Strudelwurm in the stream bed next to the Mühlbachweg. There's lots to discover here and we'll play together by the water and in the forest. Hubsi will show you how to do the forest marble run.

Bee Line's farm day

Can you hear the buzzing yet? Today we meet the busy honey bees in person. Beekeeper Hannes will tell us all about bees. Of course, we'll also get a taste of the sweet honey. Today we have a farm to discover. The cows are on the mountain pasture in summer, but there is always something to do and see on the Zottenhof and Bine Line has stayed at home and is busy collecting honey!

Barbecue - Lauserland Alpbach

Today, Juppi's friend Lauser invites us to Lauserland in Alpbach. As well as fun and games, we'll be making our own stick bread and grilling it together around the campfire.

When: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Final day with Juppi

Come with us on a journey back in time to the old Tyrol and experience how people used to live, work and spend their days on a farm. There's also a little history lesson for all interested parents. To say goodbye, you can make your own holiday souvenir and Juppi has a little surprise for you.

A registration is desired but not necessary! 

Family time spent together is very important in the Alpbachtal. That's why the programme takes place exclusively in the company of parents (or grandparents).

Bad weather programme
What do we do if it rains?

A little bit of drizzle will not stop us from having fun. If it rains heavily, give us a call and we'll let you know whether the planned programme will be carried out or whether we need to put on an alternative programme for you. Call us: +43 650 7811113
