Guided "Genuss" Snowshoe Hike

Hiking on snowshoes through the winter paradise.

Every Monday at 12:30 p.m., a guided snowshoe hike takes place in Reith i. A. Together with tour guide Toni, you will take the Reitherkogelbahn (not included in the price) to the top. From the mountain station, you will hike - depending on the snow conditions - over the Kerschbaumersattel or along the Reither Kogel through the snowy landscapes of the Alpbachtal. But the dreamy views are not all; at the beginning of the tour, you will receive a small trail snack from the Alpbachtal.

Meeting point: Ticket office of the Reitherkogelbahn valley station

Suitable for: Children aged 12 and over

What to bring:

• Sturdy winter shoes (waterproof)
• Depending on snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/sticks).
• Good clothing, good basic fitness, max. 300 vertical meters
• Possibly a small backpack for the snack

• Price with Alpbachtal Card € 20.00
• Price without Alpbachtal Card € 35.00
• Price includes snack & a drink
• Payment can be made at one of the tourist offices or when booking online.
• Depending on snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/sticks).
• Snowshoes and poles will be provided.
• The gondola or taxi ride (depending on snow conditions) is not included. Please bring cash!

If a snowshoe hike cannot be carried out due to snow conditions, an alternative hike will be offered. Details can be obtained at the Reith im Alpbachtal tourist office.

Arrival by public transport: By bus No. 620 (www.vvt.at), bus stop "Reith im Alpbachtal Reitherkogelbahn"

Arrival by car (parking facilities): There are parking spaces directly at the valley station of the Reitherkogelbahn.
