Alpbachtal 24h hike 2025
The 24-hour hike 2025 promises an adventure full of highlights: From July 12 to 13, the route will take you across four fascinating peaks and past idyllic alpine pastures. Breathtaking views at sunrise and sunset make this experience unforgettable.
The journey continues in the afternoon: over the Loderstein at 1,830 m, you'll hike to the Wildsauhütte, where coffee and cake await. Refreshed, you'll proceed via the Kerschbaumer Saddle and reach the third summit, the Reither Kogel at 1,335 m, around 6:30 p.m. After 17 kilometers, you've more than earned the title of "mountain expert"!
But the adventure isn't over yet: the descent into the valley is rewarded with a delicious dinner before you head toward Pinzgerhof at dusk. There, you'll be treated to a magical sunset overlooking the Inn Valley and stunning panoramas—accompanied by a light snack.
In the darkness, the route takes you past romantic alpine pastures to the Holzalm, where a midnight snack awaits. The highlight of the night is the sunrise on the Gratlspitze at 1,894 m—a moment that makes every effort worthwhile.
After this extraordinary experience, the hike continues: past the Halbsbergalm and Hösljoch, you'll take the Upper Höhenweg trail to the Wurmalm. Be sure to have your smartphone ready, as the photo point offers one of the most beautiful views in the Alpbachtal. The final stretch along the Höhenweg leads back to Inneralpbach, where a well-deserved breakfast awaits. By then, you'll truly understand what it means to complete an authentic 24-hour hike.
