Gamskopf ski tour from Inneralpbach
Medium ski tour from the Farmkehralm Inneralpbach through fantastic backcountry terrain .
Ascent: From the Leitner car park in the Greiter Valley in Inneralpbach follow the initially gentle uphill cross-country trail through the Greiter Valley to the Greitalm (1,320 m). Continue slightly left into the valley to the ditch below the Farmkehralm (1,521 m). At the bottom of the valley, near a prominent boulder, the ascending track turns right and heads south along the edge of the forest. It is best to cross the first ditch to the left, which will lead you to beautiful backcountry skiing terrain. Continue in a south-westerly direction across beautifully structured terrain, with the peak already in sight. Before the last slope, turn left onto the ridge and climb the ridge from the south-east to the summit.
Descent: As the ascent - the extensive terrain up to the Farmkehralm povides for a choice of downhill routes. On each tour, you are bound to find an untracked slope to ski down.
