Start from the Hotel Neuwirt and walk up along the side of the ski slope to the lifts top station. Walk through the Obergründl woods along path no. 2.
A forest track leads back down to Brandenberg and the start passing the “Angerer“ farm and traversing a field direction „Altenwohnheim“ (retirement home).
