Christmas & Farmer's Market

The entire town shines brightly on Saturdays from November 29 to December 20 in the atmospheric light of Christmas decorations. At the Herrenhausplatz and in front of the community center, Christmas trees glow brightly. A petting zoo awaits many little visitors. Christmas brass players perform old melodies, setting the mood for the Advent season. Brixlegger Christmas means strolling comfortably through festively decorated streets, tasting at Christmas stalls, and lingering in the shops.

Brixlegger associations and numerous hobby craftsmen have been busy crafting, knitting, and carving. Christmas decorations, Christmas tree ornaments, but also hand-knit socks, gloves, or hats can be found at the many market stalls. Homemade jams, oils, liqueurs, and local honey are also not to be missed. The highlight of Brixlegger Christmas is the big Christkind parade on December 20, 2025 - enjoy the magic of glowing children's eyes and the contemplative atmosphere of this unique spectacle!

The Brixlegger Christmas Market has become one of the insider tips in Tyrol. Delicious treats such as Zillertaler Krapfen, Kiachl, and Christmas pastries sweeten the Advent season. The Brixlegger Farmers' Market is appreciated by many visitors not just during the Christmas season. Every first Saturday of the month, farmers from the region offer bacon, cheese, bread, sausages, liqueurs, and many other local specialties.
