Christmas & Farmer's Market

The whole town shines in the atmospheric light of Christmas decorations on Saturdays from November 29th to December 20th. Christmas trees glow brightly at the Herrnhausplatz and in front of the community center. A petting zoo awaits many little visitors. Christmas brass players play old tunes, setting the mood for the Advent season. Brixlegger Christmas means strolling comfortably through festively decorated streets, sampling at Christmas stalls, and lingering in the shops.

Brixlegg clubs and numerous hobby craftsmen have been busy crafting, knitting, and carving. Christmas decorations, Christmas tree ornaments, as well as hand-knitted socks, gloves, or hats can be found at the many market stalls. Homemade jams, oils, liqueurs, and local honey are also a must. The highlight of Brixlegger Christmas is the big Christkind parade on December 20, 2025 - enjoy the magic of shining children's eyes and the contemplative atmosphere of this unique event!

The Brixlegger Christmas Market has become one of the insider tips in Tyrol. Delicious treats like Zillertal dumplings, Kiachl, and Christmas cookies sweeten the Advent season. The Brixlegger Farmers' Market is highly appreciated by many visitors not only during Christmas time. Every first Saturday of the month, farmers from the region offer bacon, cheese, bread, sausages, liqueurs, and many other local specialties.
