Epihany Mass for the Three Kings
On the Feast of the Epiphany the priest blesses Epiphany water, frankincense, gold, and chalk.
Around Epihany children go from house to house and sing carols. With chalk they write their initials (C+M+B) for Casper, Melchior and Baltasar above the main door. This is a new year's blessing for the occupants and the initials also are believed to also stand for "Christus mansionem benedicat" ("May/Let Christ Bless This House")
