Winter Alpine Coaster "Alpbachtaler Lauser Sauser"
At Wiedersberger Horn in Alpbach, the new "Alpbachtaler Lauser Sauser" awaits adventure seekers in summer and winter!
The modern alpine coaster starts at 1,845 meters at the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn. With speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour, it goes over two jumps and through two 360-degree loops over 1,000 meters and 134 meters of elevation through the Lauserwald.
By the way: One of the loops is Austria's highest loop at 18 meters above the ground! The speed throughout the ride is, of course, measured, and a snapshot is also taken. Photos can be purchased directly at the ticket office.
Up to 500 people can ride the new Lauser Sauser per hour – by the way, it's not just downhill; it also goes back up to the starting point.
Everyone aged three and over can ride. From the age of eight and a minimum height of 1.30 meters, you may also ride alone in the sled.
And the best part: The Lauser Sauser is open for both summer and winter. (Weather-related restrictions may apply).
