Reither Kogel
Easy snowshoe hike through idyllic woods and along a plateau at the foot of the Reither Kogel
The snowshoe tour starts with a ride up the mountain with the Reitherkogelbahn 8-seater gondola to the Reither Kogel. The hike actually begins at the Reitherkogel top station. Put on your snowshoes, ski poles firmly in your hands set off across meadows past the Nissl farm and through the forest towards the Fürst farm. You trudge through the snow, either in the thick of deep snow-covered woods or across one or the other meadow. The tour leads to the Hinterkogelhof at approx. 1,239 m
The viewsof the Inn, Alpbach and Ziller Valleys are mesmerizing.
Take the same route to go back to the Reitherkogelbahn top station and take the gondola back down to the valley.
