Hiking in Tyrol: Explore the top hiking destinations in Austria

The Summer lifts take hikers up to very different hiking areas in the Alpbachtal holiday region offering walkers good and varied choices.

In a mere 5 minutes an 8-seater gondola takes walkers from the „Familien und Blumendorf“ Reith im Alpbachtal up the Reither Kogel. The Reither Kogel walking area is ideal for families and ramblers. Fun and adventure can be found along “Juppi Zauberwald“, a 2,5 km long circular path with numerous play areas in unspoiled nature and a viewing platform offering impressive vistas.

Shortly before arriving in Alpbach - Austria’s most beautiful village – you reach the Wiedersbergerhornbahn, a 6-seater gondola taking hikers up to approx. 1.900 m at the foot of the Wiedersbergerhorn peak. The „Lauserland“ with an array of fun things for children to do such as giant slides, tunnels for crawling through, a water wheel, a pond and plenty more is right next to the top station. Hikers will surely enjoy a walk up the peak of the nearby Wiedersbergerhorn or a full day tour via the Sagtaler Spitzen to Inneralpbach.

Hiking tours in stages and the Adlerweg Tirol
