Due to safety reasons, the gorges are not accessible in Winter between 6. November 2022 and end of April 2023 and on days with heavy rain in Summer.
The narrow gorge path follows the impressive course of the Brandenberg stream for approx. 1km upstream. Several tunnels and bridges make the path particularly attractive. Below the cliff hugging path the gushing Brandenberg stream makes its way down the valley. Towards the end of the gorge the landscape mellows and several beautiful spots lend themselves as ideal areas to spend some quality outdoor time in midst nature. Walking time: approx. 30 minutes. To get back take the same way or maybe you prefer a round trip tour back to the Kaiserhaus / parking.
Walking through the gorge is free of charge.
To reach the Kaiserhaus / Kaiser Gorge take the bus no. 4070 through the beautiful Brandenberg Valley (free of charge with your Alpbachtal Card).
