Guided "Genuss" Snowshoe Hike

Hiking on snowshoes through the winter idyll.

Every Monday at 12:30 PM, a guided snowshoe hike takes place in Reith i. A. Together with tour guide Irmi Dessl, you will take the Reitherkogel cable car (not included in the price) to the top. From the mountain station, you will hike - depending on the snow conditions - over the Kerschbaumersattel or at the Reither Kogel through the snow-covered landscapes of the Alpbachtal. But the dreamy views are not everything; at the beginning of the tour, you will receive a small snack from the Alpbachtal.

Meeting point: Ticket office at the valley station of the Reitherkogel cable car

Suitable for: Children from 12 years

What to bring:

• Sturdy winter shoes (waterproof)
• Depending on the snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/poles).
• Good clothing 
• Possibly a small backpack for snacks

• Price with Alpbachtal Card € 20.00
• Price without Alpbachtal Card € 35.00
• Price includes snacks & a drink
• Payment at one of the tourist offices or when booking online.
• Depending on the snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/poles).
• Snowshoes and poles are provided. The gondola ride or taxi ride (depending on snow conditions) is not included. Please bring cash!

Registration is required by Monday at 10:30 AM at one of the tourist offices in the Alpbachtal, Tel. +43 5337 21200 40 or in the Experience Shop or via My Alpbachtal app.

If a snowshoe hike cannot be carried out due to snow conditions, an alternative hike will be offered. Details can be obtained from the tourism office Reith im Alpbachtal.

Access by public transport: With bus No. 620 (www.vvt.at), bus stop "Reith im Alpbachtal Reitherkogelbahn"

Access by car (parking options): There are parking spaces directly at the valley station of the Reitherkogel cable car.
