Guided "Genuss" Snowshoe Hike

Hiking with snowshoes through the winter idyll.

Every Monday at 12:30 p.m., a guided snowshoe hike takes place in Reith i. A. Together with tour guide Irmi Dessl, you will take the Reitherkogelbahn (not included in the price) up. From the mountain station, you will hike - depending on the snow conditions - over the Kerschbaumersattel or at the Reither Kogel through the snow-covered landscapes of the Alpbachtal. But the breathtaking views are not all; at the beginning of the tour, you will receive a small snack from the Alpbachtal.

Meeting point: Ticket office at the base station of the Reitherkogelbahn

Suitable for: Children from 12 years

What to bring:

• Sturdy winter shoes (waterproof)
• Depending on the snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/sticks).
• Good clothing, basic fitness, max. 300 meters elevation gain
• Possibly a small backpack for the snack

• Price with Alpbachtal Card € 20.00
• Price without Alpbachtal Card € 35.00
• Price includes snack & one drink
• Payment at one of the tourism offices or during online booking.
• Depending on the snow conditions, an alternative hike will take place (please bring spikes/good winter shoes/sticks).
• Snowshoes and sticks will be provided. The gondola or taxi ride (depending on the snow conditions) is not included. Please bring cash!

If a snowshoe hike cannot be conducted due to snow conditions, an alternative hike will be offered. Details can be obtained at the tourism office Reith in Alpbachtal.

Getting there by public transport: Take bus No. 620 (www.vvt.at), bus stop "Reith im Alpbachtal Reitherkogelbahn"

Getting there by car (parking options): There are parking spaces directly at the base station of the Reitherkogelbahn.
