Sunrise on the mountain

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!        

In the morning twilight, the Wiedersbergerhornbahn will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can independently hike to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127 meters above sea level in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you will experience the captivating natural spectacle of the sunrise with breathtaking panoramic and distant views. Treat yourself to a small breakfast on the mountain for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before for € 18.00
• At the morning box office € 22.00
• Children: free up to 5 years; 6 to 14 years pay € 9.00 (advance sale and morning box office)
• Season tickets and senior rates are not valid for special trips.
• Tickets are available at all tourist offices in the region or online for our guests via the My Alpbachtal App

• On-site payment only in cash!
• Parking tickets will be checked starting from normal lift operations at 9:00 AM

13.08.2026 05:00 – 05:45 AM (sunrise at 06:12 AM) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30 AM

The cable car will be turned on for the descent about half an hour after sunrise for 45 minutes.

• In case of bad weather, the ascent will be canceled! A cancellation will be announced no later than the day before at 12:00 PM
