Kerschbaum Saddle (502)

From Brixlegg, cycle along the L5 to Reith im Alpbachtal. Turn right before the tunnel and cycle through the village past the Reitherkogelbahn and turn right onto the L5. Turn right again uphill towards Hygna. Bear right at the chapel and follow the road up to the Kerschbaumersattel (ridge). The route leads downhill to Bruck / Zillertal. Cycle out the valley and turn right onto the B171 and continue to Brixlegg.

From Brixlegg, cycle along the L5 to Reith im Alpbachtal - turn right before the tunnel - cycle through the village past the Reitherkogelbahn - turn right onto the L5 - turn right again uphill towards Hygna - bear right at the chapel - follow the road up to the Kerschbaum Saddle - the route leads downhill to Bruck / Zillertal - cycle out the valley - turn right onto the B171 - continue to Brixlegg.

Take in the magnificent view from a small bench on the left of the road at the Kerschbaum Saddle! On the way back from Bruck to Brixlegg you will pass the beautiful Matzen Castle Park. Treat yourself to a short break here, with a walk through the park or a snack in the Gut Matzen restaurant.
