Due to the decreasing number of cases, the Austrian federal government has determined further relaxations of the corona measures.

Traffic restriction instead of segregation in case of infection.

On 1st August 2022, the obligation to segregate was abolished and replaced by a ten-day traffic restriction. This means wearing a FFP2 mask in closed rooms together with other people, in public transport, when meeting with other people, etc.

Currently, there is no longer a mask obligation in Austria.

Please note that the mask obligation remains in force in hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
