Sunrise on the mountain

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!        

In the morning twilight the Wiedersberger Horn cable car will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can hike independently to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127 meters above sea level in about 45 minutes. Once there, you will experience the fascinating natural spectacle of the sunrise with a stunning panoramic & distant view. Treat yourself to a little breakfast on the mountain afterwards - for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before € 18.00
• At the morning box office € 22.00
• Children: free up to 5 years; 6 to 14 years pay € 9.00 (pre-sale and morning box office)
• Season tickets and senior rates are not valid for special trips.
• Tickets are available at all tourism offices in the region or for our guests online via My Alpbachtal App

• On-site payment only in cash!
• Parking tickets will only be checked with regular lift operation starting at 9:00 AM

02.07.2026 04:15 – 05:00 AM (sunrise at 05:23 AM) - Departure: 06:00 - 06:45 AM
16.07.2026 04:30 – 05:15 AM (sunrise at 05:37 AM) - Departure: 06:15 - 07:00 AM
30.07.2026 04:45 – 05:30 AM (sunrise at 05:54 AM) - Departure: 06:30 - 07:15 AM
13.08.2026 05:00 – 05:45 AM (sunrise at 06:12 AM) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30 AM
27.08.2026 05:15 – 06:00 AM (sunrise at 06:31 AM) - Departure: 07:00 - 07:45 AM
The cable car will be turned on for the descent about half an hour after the sunrise for 45 minutes.

• In case of bad weather, the ascent will be canceled! A cancellation will be announced no later than the day before at 12:00 PM
