Sunrise on the mountain

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!        

In the early dawn, the Wiedersbergerhornbahn will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can hike independently to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127 meters above sea level in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you will experience the fascinating natural spectacle of the sunrise with breathtaking panoramic and distant views. Then treat yourself to a small breakfast on the mountain - for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before for € 18.00
• At the morning box office € 22.00
• Children: free up to 5 years; 6 to 14 years pay € 9.00 (advance sales and morning box office)
• Season passes and senior rates are not valid during special rides.
• Tickets are available at all tourist offices in the region or online for our guests via My Alpbachtal App

• Payment on site only in cash!
• Parking tickets are only checked from 9:00 am onwards with regular lift operation

02.07.2026 04:15 – 05:00 (sunrise at 05:23) - Departure: 06:00 - 06:45
16.07.2026 04:30 – 05:15 (sunrise at 05:37) - Departure: 06:15 - 07:00
30.07.2026 04:45 – 05:30 (sunrise at 05:54) - Departure: 06:30 - 07:15
13.08.2026 05:00 – 05:45 (sunrise at 06:12) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30
27.08.2026 05:15 – 06:00 (sunrise at 06:31) - Departure: 07:00 - 07:45
The cable car will be turned on for the descent approximately half an hour after sunrise for 45 minutes.

• In bad weather, the ascent will be canceled! A cancellation will be announced at the latest by 12:00 noon the day before
