Sunrise on the mountain

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!        

In the early morning light, the Wiedersbergerhornbahn will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can hike independently to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127 meters above sea level in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you will witness the fascinating spectacle of the sunrise with breathtaking panoramic views. Afterwards, treat yourself to a small breakfast on the mountain - for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before for € 18.00
• At the morning box office € 22.00
• Children: free up to 5 years; 6 to 14 years pay € 9.00 (advance sales and morning box office)
• Season tickets and senior rates are not valid for special trips.
• The tickets are available at all tourism offices in the region or online for our guests via My Alpbachtal App

• On-site payment only in cash!
• Parking tickets will only be checked with normal lift operation starting at 9:00 AM

30.07.2026 04:45 – 05:30 AM (sunrise at 05:54 AM) - Departure: 06:30 - 07:15 AM
13.08.2026 05:00 – 05:45 AM (sunrise at 06:12 AM) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30 AM
27.08.2026 05:15 – 06:00 AM (sunrise at 06:31 AM) - Departure: 07:00 - 07:45 AM
The cable car will start its descent about half an hour after sunrise for 45 minutes.

• In case of bad weather, the ascent will be canceled! A cancellation will be announced by 12:00 PM the day before
