Sunrise on the mountain

Experience the sunrise at Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127m!        

In the early morning twilight, the Wiedersbergerhornbahn will take you to the mountain station. From there, you can independently hike to the summit of Wiedersberger Horn at 2,127 meters above sea level in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive, you will experience the fascinating natural spectacle of the sunrise with a breathtaking panoramic view. Treat yourself to a small breakfast on the mountain afterwards - for a perfect start to the day!

Tickets and Costs:

• Until the day before for € 18.00
• At the morning box office € 22.00
• Children: up to 5 years free; 6 to 14 years pay € 9.00 (advance sales and morning box office)
• Season tickets and senior rates are not valid for special rides.
• Tickets are available at all tourism offices in the region or for our guests online My Alpbachtal App

• On-site payment is only in cash!
• Parking tickets will only be checked starting at 9:00 a.m. with regular lift operations

03.07.2025 04:15 – 05:00 a.m. (Sunrise at 05:23 a.m.) - Departure: 06:00 - 06:45 a.m.
17.07.2025 04:30 – 05:15 a.m. (Sunrise at 05:37 a.m.) - Departure: 06:15 - 07:00 a.m.
31.07.2025 04:45 – 05:30 a.m. (Sunrise at 05:54 a.m.) - Departure: 06:30 - 07:15 a.m.
14.08.2025 05:00 – 05:45 a.m. (Sunrise at 06:12 a.m.) - Departure: 06:45 - 07:30 a.m.
28.08.2025 05:15 – 06:00 a.m. (Sunrise at 06:31 a.m.) - Departure: 07:00 - 07:45 a.m.
The cable car will operate approximately half an hour after sunrise for a descent of 45 minutes.
