Culinary Regional Highlights

Hearty and simple farm fare in the traditional mountain huts, relish in Tyrolean delicacies in the local guest houses or choose from international specialities in one of our recognised restaurants; something for every palate.  A locally brewed schnapps is a must as a digestif.  The „Brandenberger Prügeltorte“ is a must-try for all visitors and in Brixlegg revel in local food stuffs at the „first Saturday in the Month“ Farmer’s Market including the local favourite cheese, the „Alpbachtaler Heumilchkäse“. A great pit-stop in Inneralpbach after a good days‘ hiking is the local beer producer „Brauerei von Jos in Inneralpbach“.  Alpbachtal –always a great surprise!
