Greiter Graben Circular Trail
Idyllic winter round in the Greiter Graben in Inneralpbach: Along the babbling brook to the Salcheralm, past alpine huts and the Greit Chapel – perfect for families & pleasure hikers.
Behind the museum begins a gentle ascent along the Greiter brook: a natural section accompanied by the consistent murmur of the water. The path winds through the ravine, past traditional wooden fences, alpine pastures, and small bridges – perfect to enjoy the tranquility of the mountain landscape.
After a leisurely hike you reach the Salcheralm, idyllically situated on the slope and a beautiful place for a rest. From here, the view opens over the surrounding peaks and the gentle grassy slopes of the Greiter area.
From Salcheralm the circular trail leads downhill. On the way back you pass the small Greit Chapel, a atmospheric resting point with a wonderful view over the valley. Then the path continues down back to Inneralpbach, where the round closes.
The 7.7 km long round can be comfortably shortened at several points and is perfect for families and pleasure hikers.
Refreshment options: directly at the parking lot at Conny's Original Tyrolean Tavern or at the beginning of the trail at the Zirmalm in Inneralpbach
