Alpbach Welcome – The ‘College Festl’

What is a festival like where Alpbach tradition meets international encounters? At the ‘College Festl’ on Tyrol Day at the European Forum Alpbach, locals and international guests come together in a cosy atmosphere.

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the area around the Congress Centrum Alpbach will become a meeting place for cross-border encounters from 12:00 pm to 15:30 pm. Regional food, drinks and living traditions from Alpbach and the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino come together at this festival, inviting everyone to celebrate together.

Musical entertainment will be provided by, amongst others, ‘Plus Minus Alpbach’ together with other music groups. In this way, the College Festl combines Tyrolean culture and hospitality with the international flair of the European Forum Alpbach.

The festival is organised by the European Forum Alpbach, the Europaregion Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, the Alpbach Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Alpbach Farmers’ Wives’ Association, the Alpbach Young Farmers’ Association/Rural Youth, the Alpbachtal Tourist Board and the Gasthof Jakober.

In the event of bad weather, the event will take place indoors.
