Alpbachtal 24h Hike 2026
The route of the 24h hike 2026 is filled with true highlights: You will hike from July 11-12, 2026 to the blue eye of the Rofan, past rustic alpine huts all the way to the rushing Ache. And of course, a beautiful summit follows another. Subject to changes!
The afternoon promises an unforgettable natural experience with the arrival at the Zireiner See, the jewel of the Rofan mountains. After conquering the first 1,300 meters of altitude and about 10 km, you can rightly call yourself a real mountain enthusiast.
But your adventure is far from over. The ascent to the Rosskogel at 1,900 meters rewards you with breathtaking panoramas.
The journey continues to the cozy Anderls Almhütte – perfect for a coffee break with cake. Then your path winds through the idyllic landscape of Wimm/Aschau to the Gasthof Gwercherwirt, where a delicious dinner awaits you.
At dusk, your nighttime adventure along the Pineggklamm begins, accompanied by the rushing Brandenberger Ache. Your tour continues past the Jausenstation Tiefenbachklamm, through the charming village of Brandenberg, where a midnight snack awaits. Your route leads over the Zimmerer Kopf to the Voldöpper Spitze. There you can finally turn off your headlamp, since sunrise will be watched here.
After your sunrise moment, the descent towards Kramsach village begins. Anyone who doesn't feel the "calves" now is truly tough.
