Kramsach to Rattenberg walk
Pleasant walk from Kramsach to Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town
Relax on one of the large rocks along the shore, take in the terrific view to the Rofan Range and listen to the the soothing flow of the river.
Curative & thermal water fountain:
The fountain was designed by the architect Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Hauser and made by the Stonemason & Blacksmith's workshop (Steinmetz- und Kunstschmiedebetrieb) Guggenberger in Kramsach.
Deep groundwater characteristics:
- Sodium-calcium-chloride thermal water with a high degree of mineralisation (therapeutic water)
- Temperature - 35 °C
- Age - approx. 15.000 years
If you would like to have a birds eye view of the town walk up to the Schlossberg the passenger lift at the Malerwinkel/municipal office in Rattenberg - you'll be rewarded.
Gemeindeamt (local municipality) – Duftner bridge and to the right along the stream to the Weidach chapel – cross the bridge – straight to Rattenberg - back via the Inn Bridge and the "Innspitz" viewpoint - back to the starting point
