Kramsach to Rattenberg walk

The pleasant tour starts at the outlet of the Brandenberg Stream and leads to the Weidach chapel. The impressive fountain in front of the chapel is an ideal spot to take a short break. Continue towards the Inn River and cross the bridge to Rattenberg. Many interesting things wait to be discovered by visitors to this small town. The town is home to several excellent restaurants and cafés, cultural rarities such as the Augustinian museum, the parish church or the old castle ruin with the Egon Schiele lookout point. Rattenberg is known for century old glass craftsmanship and the many glass shops are full of beautiful objects.  During a visit to the glass blowing workshop at Kristallglas Kisslinger visitors can experience this craft up close. Following a stroll through town walk back to Kramsach via the "Innspitz" viewpoint.

"Innspitz" viewpoint: 

Relax on one of the large rocks along the shore, take in the terrific view to the Rofan Range and listen to the the soothing flow of the river.

The fountain was designed by the architect Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Hauser and made by the Stonemason & Blacksmith's workshop (Steinmetz- und Kunstschmiedebetrieb) Guggenberger in Kramsach.

Deep groundwater characteristics: 

• Sodium-calcium-chloride thermal water with a high degree of mineralisation (therapeutic water)
• Temperature - 35 °C
• Age - approx. 15.000 years

Schloßberg Rattenberg:

If you would like to have a birds eye view of the town walk up to the Schlossberg the passenger lift at the Malerwinkel/municipal office in Rattenberg - you'll be rewarded.

Directions
Gemeindeamt (local municipality) – Duftner bridge and to the right along the stream to the Weidach chapel – cross the bridge – straight to Rattenberg - back via the Inn Bridge and the "Innspitz" viewpoint - back to the starting point
