MTB-Route 304 Alpbach – Bischoferalm – Holzalm

Beautiful tour at the foot of Gratlspitze

Length 7.92 km
Duration 1:30 h
Altitude
571 hm
66 hm

The start is at the Alpbach tourist office. Cycle past the church towards the Hotel zur Post and along the Höhenstraße towards Reith. At the Hauser valley bridge turn right towards "Außerbischofen" and then turn left. The unpaved forest track leads steeply uphill to the Bischoferalm. One curve further on is the Bischoferalm-Ausschank, where you can get something to eat and drink. After a short steep stretch the track flattens out a bit up to the last bend before the Bischofer Joch (saddle). Pedal on to the Hauserjoch at 1.505 m (great views). A gentle descent brings you to the Hauseralm and after a short uphill to the Berggasthof Holzalm (where you can get something to eat and drink) at 1.452 m.
