You start directly from the Alpengasthof Rossmoos into a scenic hiking day that takes you step by step closer to the gentle grassy mountains. On well-maintained paths, you head towards the Hösljoch – a crossing that impresses with open views and calm terrain.
The route is varied but remains pleasantly moderate. Time and again, wide views open up to the surrounding mountains as you hike through alpine terrain typical of the Alpbachtal.
From the Hösljoch, the path continues towards the Holzalm. The destination is deliberately chosen: a rustic inn nestled in nature, rounding off the hiking day perfectly.
