Via ferrata Lake Reintal in Kramsach

Whether you have a towel or a climbing harness round your waist depends entirely on the Summer activity you’re are planning to do. It's a fact, that at Lake Reintal in Kramsach both climbing and bathing are possible. The climbing routes offer ideal opportunities to combine the two. Two varying climbing routes treat climbers to fascinating adventures.


Climbing routes for experienced climbers in Kramsach

250 m climbing rope length: Route 1 with a degree of difficulty "C/D" and route 2 the sports climbing variant with a degree of difficulty "E" which poses  a challenge even for experienced climbers.

The path leading to the climbing area starts to the East of the "Kramsach Halbinsel“ car park bus stop. After a 20 minute walk you reach the climbing area. 

Climbing routes: 1 - 1,5 hours

The descent follows approx. 1 hour the Bärengrube hiking path to Lake Reintal and the Krummsee.

Please notice

  • Complete climbing equipment required. Use of the via ferrata is at your own risk. Climbing-set hire at Kiosk Lake Reintal.
  • Closed from 01.10. until Good Friday
    NOTE: in 2020 we will open the via ferrata on Friday, 8.5.2020!
