Lesung mit Barbara Moser

Barbara Moser is presenting her book "Bercht & Percht in the Alpine Region" in the assembly hall of Breitenbach Primary School.

However varied the timing of the celebrations and the appearance of those who practise these customs in Alpbach, Angerber, Breitenbach, Mariastein, the Tux Valley and the Zillertal may be, they all wish for blessings, good health, a bountiful harvest and success.

The photographs bear witness to the traditions handed down through the generations in the valleys and villages.

Barbara Moser brings these accounts to life and preserves them from oblivion.
