E-Bike loop tour Alpbach - Schatzberg
Beautiful e-bike or mountain bike tour with magnificent panorama, make it to the top, rustic alpine pastures and mountain huts.
The tour starts in Alpbach village centre and leads towards Inneralpbach to the E-Trial Park Alpbachtal. The route leads left up the Lueger Valley. Shortly before the Hochberg car park, turn left and cycle uphill towards the Blaikenalm (food and drinks not provided), where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view. The picturesque farmhouse also remains etched in ones memory before the tour continues uphill towards Gipföhit.
A stop here for something to eat and drink is recommended. The Schatzberg summit cross is only a few metres above the hut. So if you want to take a selfie with the summit cross, you should allow for the time it takes to walk to the top. From the cross you can enjoy the fantastic mountain panorama over the Kitzbühel Alps. The view is bound to get nature lovers heart beating faster.
Following a well-deserved break, continue past the Schatzbergalm (where they also serve food and drinks) and return via the Sieglbichlalm (food and drinks not provided) over narrow hairpin bends to the Oberer Höhenweg asphalt road in Alpbach. Turn right at the fork in the road and pass the Alpengasthof Rossmoos (for food and drinks) cycling downhill. Cross the Dorfer stream bridge and cycle back to the starting point.
