Certified mountain guides accompany you to some of the most beautiful peaks and natural spots in Alpbach, Reith im Alpbachtal, Kramsach and Brandenberg. A tour of Rattenberg is also included.

Wild & magical: A hike through the Tiefenbach Gorge between Kramsach and Brandenberg is a unique experience in nature. Discover the turquoise-green waters, the bizarre rock formations and the magnificent view from the viewing platform high above the Brandenberg Stream. Explore the impressive gorge with experienced hiking guides.

Alpbach is not simply an idyllic mountain village known for it's homogenous building style, but also the venue for the internationally renowned European Forum Alpbach. During the „Village of Thinkers“ tour, be inspired by the numerous people who lectured, shared their ideas, discussed and showed their artwork in Alpbach.

A journey of discovery through history on the Kupfererzweg (Copper Ore Trail)
Immerse yourself in a bygone world and experience the fascinating history of mining up close! Our guided hike takes you along the copper ore trail up to the historic Berghaus/Knappenhaus - a place where the hard life of the miners once pulsated. Along the way, you will discover traces of mining dating back to the Middle Ages: old spoil tips, mysterious tunnel entrances and the disused open-cast mine. At the Kram adit, you will gain exciting insights into how ore used to be extracted, while you stand at the remains of the Georgi mine and imagine the enormous labour of the miners. Another highlight: the archaeological finds at Kropfsberg Castle, which provide fascinating insights into the life and economy of past centuries. From there, the route continues to Brixlegg, where the tour slowly comes to a conclusion. If you want to delve even deeper into the history of mining, you can visit the Tyrolean Museum of Mining and Metallurgy - a perfect end to the tour for anyone who wants to experience history up close.

Tuesday
Lake Zirein in the Rofan Range is without doubt one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Tyrol. The lake is picturesquely nestled between the Rosskogel and Rofanspitze. Hike up to the “Blue Eye of the Rofan” with our experienced guides. The path up to the lake offers a breath-taking panorama; on a clear day, you can even see as far as the Großglockner. Requirements for the tour are surefootedness and stamina. Only suitable for children from age 12!

Wednesday
Join us and experience an impressive hike with stunning views and a picturesque mountain backdrop! The Gratlspitze has its allure from every side, and with this circular hike, you'll encounter a variety of landscapes. Starting from the village center in Alpbach, we'll make our way around the Gratlspitze, passing through the Hösljoch and returning to Alpbach. Throughout the hike, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Tyrolean mountain world.
Additionally, on this tour, you will find answers to the following questions:
- How are our forests adapting to the changing climate?
- What role do deadwood and woodpeckers play in the forest? What does natural regeneration mean and
- What exactly is a natural forest?
During the hike, you will experience an ancient forest and its structures up close. Important habitats such as wetlands and ponds are there to be discovered.
The natural landscape surrounding the Gratlspitze is characterized by its unique flora. Along the way, you can admire several native flower species, such as Turk's-cap lilies and lady's slipper orchids. Due to the mining of copper and silver until the mid-19th century, the Gratlspitze has always been of great importance. Your mountain guide will provide interesting insights into the history, flora, and fauna of the area.

Be fascinated by the diversity of local flowers and herbs! Every Wednesday you can learn about all kinds of medicinal herbs on a guided tour through the flowering show and recreation garden according to Hildegard von Bingen. The 900 m² large field is home to a recreation area, a barefoot path, a massage path and a shallow water area with calming, burbling water.

Classic guided tour of Rattenberg (in German!)...
...immerse yourself in the towns‘ medieval setting. Rattenberg, located in the Alpbachtal holiday region, proves that the true size of a town does not depend on its surface area. Although only 500 people live on just under eleven hectares, the small town between the Inn and the Schlossberg is bursting with cultural treasures. Every Wednesday you can discover all kinds of sights with state-certified guides and gain interesting insights into the history of the town of Rattenberg.

Every Wednesday evening Alpbach is bathed in a warm glow. Get to know the pretty mountain village during the guided contemplative torchlight hike. The hike is suitable for families with children and offers unforgettable holiday memories.

Thursday
We start our hike along the rushing stream in the Lueger Valley. The gentle sounds of the water accompany us as we immerse ourselves in this natural paradise. A short stop is planned at the Buam Chapel, idyllically situated at the edge of the path. Our guide will tell you more about it's history and significance. We ascend at a leisurely pace along an easily accessible gravelled path.
A wonderful panorama awaits us at the Ebnetalm. We can take a break here before continuing via the Kolbental Niederleger Alm and Buamalm.
We then head downhill through shade giving forests towards the valley. We pass the Alpbach Farmhouse Museum, which can be visited on request - our guide will be happy to give you a brief introduction. After approx. 4 hours, we return to our starting point, full of impressions and experiences from the Tyrolean mountains.

Friday
Following the Path of Sustainability
This easy tour combines cultural highlights such as the impressive Mariathal Basilica with some true natural gems. On this varied circular trail, Ossi will share interesting insights about the nature in our region:
- Which tree species will be able to grow here in the future?
- Why is a diverse flower meadow important?
- Where does the water of the icy-cold Brandenberg Stream come from?
Along the route, you'll also encounter a small moor and the natural monument Lake Frauen. Tip: How about a dip in the cool waters of the Brandenberg Stream or Lake Reintal?

Hiking makes you hungry!
An ideal way to quench hunger and thirst is with a "Jause", but what is a Jause? In Tyrol, a Jause is a small snack with regional products. You can now experience this special kind of culinary pleasure on a guided tour through Reith im Alpbachtal - on the search for delicacies. During this journey of discovery, you will stop off at selected culinary stops, including the Alpbachtal hay milk cheese dairy, Wimpissinger butcher's and the Oberhaslach farm. At each of these venues, you will be treated to delicious Tyrolean delicacies and learn how the Tyroleans traditionally enjoy their snacks.

Out and about with fluffy friends
Pack up the whole family and experience the magical world of llamas and alpacas together at the Freifußhof farm in Kramsach. While getting to know the farm, you can get up close and personal with the cuddly animals and gain exciting insights into their lives. Afterwards, you can look forward to a guided walk with the llamas and alpacas. At the end of the day, you have the opportunity to browse to your heart's content in the farm shop and take home products made from alpaca and llama wool as souvenirs.
