In this part of the Tyrol the Inn Valley is wider and offers more variety than the Tiroler Oberland promising more choice. Clocking up kilometres on the flat valley roads is easily achieved. After the warm up it's time to tackle the main stages. Choose from one of the seven challenging road racing tours that start from Rattenberg and lead through idyllic Tyrolean side valleys to Kufstein or around the Wilder Kaiser mountain range.
The Brandenberg Valley, a Tyrolean Lower Inn Valley side valley, is without doubt one of the prettiest and is home to an ideal tour for road race bike fans. The tarmacked quiet stretch of road running alongside the Brandenberg stream is a rolling route with some challenging aspects. Scenic Pinegg is truly rewarding for any hardship the tour may present. It is recommended to cycle the tour clockwise as there is less traffic to the left of the stream. The tour continues towards the east past the lakes in Kramsach to Breitenbach and back. 44 kilometres and 810 elevation are covered on the tour.
Eight difficult road racing tours start from the Alpbachtal and bring joy to every cyclist's heart – even professionals work up a sweat on these tours with climbs of up to 3.300 m and distances of 100 km.
Looking for a day tour? Take a trip into nearby Bavaria and cycle the “queen stage”, of the „Fünf Seen Runde“ (five-lake-circular route). 150 km with 1.750 elevation lead through delightful scenery. The tour starts in Rattenberg, leads past the lakes in Kramsach via Angerberg and Maria Stein along a quiet main road to Kufstein. From there the tour takes you up to Thiersee and on to Bayrischzell and continues on towards Schliersee and Spitzingsee. The stage back to Kramsach passes the crystal blue Achensee and glorious scenery.
